Borescope Inspection of the Cylinder on a Husqvarna ST224 Snowblower

This is a borescope inspection video of the inside of the engine cylinder of my 8-year-old Husqvarna ST-224 snowblower. It is equipped with a 208cc LCT engine.

I was pleasantly surprised to find very little in the way of carbon deposits, especially considering the machine's age. I suppose part of the reason is that I only use ethanol-free gasoline that has been stabilized with STA-BIL, and use a high-quality synthetic motor oil. I also add some Techron or Red Line Fuel System Cleaner to the gas before storing the machine for the warmer months and let it run the tank dry. Both products contain healthy doses of polyetheramine, or PEA, which is the most effective chemical at removing deposits from engine valves, rings, and combustion chambers. Like my mother used to tell me when I was little: Take care of your toys and they'll last longer.

This borescope inspection video was shot using a DEPSTECH DS-450 Dual-Lens Industrial Endoscope and edited using Magix Movie Edit Pro Premium.
